Bethany Early Intervention Program

The Bethany Early Intervention Program is located at Mater Dei, Camden. They offer home and family centred programs for children 0-6 years with a developmental delay.  Each child’s individual program is guided by the needs of the child and family. Services include:

  •  Occupational Therapy
  •  Speech Pathology
  •  Physiotherapy
  •  Early Learning Groups/ Educational Programs/ Pre-School Support

Building Blocks (Aspect)

Building blocks focuses on children 0-8 years. Building blocks programs include:

Centre Based Program– The program takes a family centred approach where goals and outcomes are developed in close collaboration.

Individualised Program– There are 3 components to the individualised Building Blocks program:

  • Making the Connection is an initial consultation with you and your child allowing us to understand your child and family’s needs.
  • Building the Foundations is our home based service teaching early behaviour and skills to support the learning and development of your child.
  • Transition to School aims to help your child make an easy transition to early childhood education, care or school

KU Starting Points

KU Starting Points Macarthur offers a play-based program, designed to enhance the development of young children. The program offers opportunities for parents and children to meet and chat with other families, and to share their experiences and knowledge within a safe and friendly environment. The experienced staff can organise access to a range of professional support services including a dedicated Speech Pathologist. Home visits are also available to assist parents with the development of their child and to provide guidance about the range of services and resources that are available.

The Mater Dei Early Intervention Program

The Mater Dei Early Intervention Program (MDEIP) offers centre-based and outreach programs for babies and children from birth to six years of age with developmental delay and/or a diagnoses disability. The MDEIP offers a suite of services including:

  • Speech pathology and assessments
  • Educational support
  • Occupational therapy and assessments
  • Early learning groups
  • Family pastoral support groups
  • Psychometric assessments
  • Transition to school plans
  • Pastoral care
  • Therapy playgroups

Northcott Macarthur Services

Transition to School Therapy Program is for preschool aged children with a global developmental delay who require school transition support. This program is funded by ADHC so is at no cost to participants.

Early Childhood Autism Service provides Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy support for children who have HCWA or Better Start funding.
